In stand-by mode, the device activates on contact with the water, moving from its vertical position into its operating position. The “flip & move” system allows U-SAFE to operate regardless of which side it is on, thanks to its U-shaped hull and twin turbines.
The operator can steer the device towards the person in difficulty and guide it during the approach and return to a safe area.
