Fire Fighting Equipment: on-board fire-fighting systems for boats

Fire safety is a key aspect of managing recreational, commercial and professional vessels. Versilia Marine Service supplies, inspects and overhauls onboard fire-fighting systems, providing devices and equipment designed to prevent and manage emergencies. Solutions include portable fire extinguishers, fire-extinguishing systems, breathing apparatus and other equipment specifically intended for marine use. Equipment selection must take into account the vessel’s characteristics, the spaces to be protected and operational requirements. The service also includes maintenance work to check the condition of the devices and manage the main safety equipment on board over time.

Every vessel requires equipment suited to its configuration and the activities it carries out. Marine fire-fighting systems may include portable equipment for initial response, fixed systems protecting specific areas and equipment intended for the personal protection of the crew. Versilia Marine Service supports the management of this equipment through supply and maintenance services, with inspections to check its condition and efficiency. Regular servicing also helps identify any need to overhaul, replace or repair individual components.
